Little Birds – A New CD Hatching Music For Cello And Accordion

download

Rachel Scott, cellist, creator and curator of the Bach in the Dark concert series writes of news about a new CD Little Birds:

“Excitement is building here at Bach in the Dark headquarters as Little Birds is nearing completion.

In January, accordion virtuoso Anthony Schulz and I met in Melbourne and recorded all our favourite pieces that we’d performed over the last couple of years – Bloch, Bartok, and of course some Bach (and a few others). Since then, we have had the most beautiful artwork created for the CD cover (by the same person who came up with the fabulous Bach in the Dark logo) and editing and mixing of all the tracks is nearly done.

I have been funding the production process in part through the crowd-funding website “Pozible” and pre-ordering copies. The response so far has been great – we have reached the “target” amount set already (a big thank you to everybody who has helped us on our way!).

You can still pre-order a CD using this system – just select the “$25+ reward” option, and a signed CD will be posted out to you when they are available (hopefully early June).”
