‘The First Piano’ – Fortepiano and Violin At The Art Gallery

The Art Gallery Society of New South Wales presents keyboard performer Anthony Romaniuk and violinist Joanna Huszcza in the August Resonate concert.

The First Piano showcases the fortepiano which was the precursor of the modern grand piano. Resonate is pleased to introduce Anthony Romaniuk, an exponent of this historically important instrument. Joining Anthony will be violinist Joanna Huszcza. Together they will perform music by J S Bach, his son Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach, Franz Benda and the Violin Sonata in C by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. 

The concert will be preceded by a champagne reception and private viewing of the Archibald, Wynne and Sulman Prizes. Doors open at 7pm. Seating commences at 7.45pm.
