The Australian Indian Orchestra celebrates Diwali in a symphonic concert which celebrates the music of A. R. Rahman who came to global fame with his soundtrack for the film Slumdog Millionaire.
In a unique concert format, Conductor and Artistic Director Suraj Nagaraj narrates the musical journey of A.R. Rahman, from his commercial jingles to his Bollywood blockbuster hits, all performed live and authentically with an 80-piece symphony orchestra.
The program features iconic selections from Tamil and Hindi films including: Dil Se, Lagaan, Ponniyin Selvan, Muthu, and more!
