Bach In The Dark – Plucked, Struck, Blown And Bowed

June 28 @ 7:00 pm

Bach in the Dark returns to the Mosman Art Gallery with Plucked, Struck, Blown And Bowed as cellist and founder of the concert series Rachel Scott is joined by some audience favourites, Rosie Gallagher on flute, Janet and Raffaele Agostino on classical guitar and Ben Sibson on hand drums.

There will be lots of different musical moments including a Bach flute sonata arranged by Janet Agostino, a moment of stillness by Philip Glass, dances to get your toes tapping based on La Folia, a fandango by Boccherini, a piece re-arranged by Australian composer Richard Charlton, and a few other musical surprises.

The concert space at the gallery will be open from 6.30pm, and a glass of wine (or non-alcoholic equivalent) will be offered to every patron. Electronic ticket sales will stop at 2pm on the day of the concert, and if there are any other tickets available, they will be available at the gallery. However, most concerts sell out and Bach in the Dark advise the advance purchase of tickets.
