Ensemble Offspring’s Listen Up!

Inspired by returning to the live stage, Ensemble Offspring presents a micro-festival bringing together some of Australia’s most inspiring musicians. In Listen Up!, a smorgasbord of contemporary-classical, jazz virtuosi, First Nations artists and art music fiends come together over two hard hitting concerts.

In concert one @ 6pm, Ensemble Offspring performs adrenalin-filled world premieres, dramatic modernist and glitchy machine music. Two world premieres, one by Australian composer Kate Neal and the other by New Zealand up-and-comer Karlo Margetić kick off the evening follwed by pieces by Errollyn Wallen, Jennifer Higdon and Tristan Coelho.

Concert two @ 8pm features the Australian Art Orchestra and First Nations artists Allara and Eric Avery for a big sonic hug.
