Handel’s Samson

The Pacific Opera Studio partners with The Muffat Collective to present Handel’s towering oratorio Samson.

This tale of strength, betrayal, and redemption brims with soaring arias, dramatic choruses, and richly expressive orchestration. Handel’s epic tells of the biblical hero Samson, his fall from grace, and his ultimate triumph over his enemies. Hear the celestial soprano aria Let the bright Seraphim made famous by Dame Kiri Te Kanawa at the wedding of (then) Prince Charles and Princess Diana.

Pacific Opera Studio Young Artists will be conducted by Artistic and Music Director Peter Coleman-Wright AO joined by Baroque music specialists The Muffat Collective, to present this epic work.
