Omega Ensemble Plays Glass And A World Premiere

Omega Ensemble presents Ecstatic Dances, with British violin powerhouse Thomas Gould returning to Australia for three performances of Philip Glass’ Violin Concerto No. 2. This exceptional program includes the world premiere of Ross Edwards’ Clarinet Concerto No. 2, commissioned in celebration of the composer’s 80th Birthday and written for Artistic Director David Rowden.
