Phoenix Collective Tango Ensemble Spends A Night In Buenos Aires

Phoenix Collective presents PC Tango Ensemble performing A Night In Buenos Aires featuring tango legend and founder of TangoOz, Maggie Ferguson on the bandoneon.
The ensemble comprising artistic director & violinist, Dan Russell with bandoneon player Maggie Ferguson, pianist Francis Carreon and double bassist, Bella Brown, will explore early and traditional works from the birthplace of tango, Buenos Aires, and the father of Nuevo Tango, Astor Piazzolla. Not the usual ‘Hollywood rose in the teeth style of Tango’ but the gritty, ‘knife in the boot’ style.

Central Coast: 21st August – Greenway Memorial Chapel, Green Point 2.30pm
