Pianist Reuben Tsang On National Tour

Piano+ (formerly Sydney International Piano Competition) presents 20 year old Brisbane pianist Reuben Tsang touring nationally as part of its Emerging Artists Recital Series.

Tsang will perform music by Scarlatti, Fauré, Brahms, and Mozart in Sydney, Canberra (25 March), Brisbane (7 April) and Melbourne (8 April). Tsang was one of the youngest Australians to reach the semi-finals in the 2023 Sydney International Piano Competition where he won the Nancy Weir Best Australian Prize.

Born and raised in Cairns, Tsang gave a bravura performance of Chopin and Beethoven at “the Sydney” when he was just twelve years old as a participant in the ‘Young Australian Showcase’. Tsang is completing his studies at Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University under the tutelage of Natasha Vlassenko.
