The Idea Of North Returns With Reunion Tour

The award-winning a capella ensemble The Idea of North has reunited after a hiatus of some years and are on tour aroud the country at the end of 2023. Established in 1993 in Canberra, today, the ensemble comprises founding tenor Nick Begbie, soprano Emma Rule, alto Naomi Crellin, bass Luke Thompson and Kai Kitamura.
Performing in Sydney on 1 November, the tour takes in all the Australian capital cities. TION’s distinctive smooth harmonies and clear blend of sound along with their explration of traditional and new repertorie have made them tremendously popular. Their artistry has been recognised with a ARIA awards in 2010 with James Morrison for the album Feels Like Spring and in 2013 for Smile, both from their impressive discography.
