Dvořák 8 and More With The Metropolitan Orchestra

Fresh from sell-out performances at the Sydney Opera House and Riverside Theatres Parramatta, The Metropolitan Orchestra’s (TMO) final Met concert of 2025 features a spectacular selection of classical music masterpieces. Led by Chief Conductor Sarah-Grace Williams, this powerhouse performance features music by Saint-Saëns, Tchaikovsky, and Dvořák for an afternoon that will blast away those winter chills
The performance starts with the famous tone poem from Saint-Saëns, his Danse Macabre. Following this is Tchaikovsky’s powerfully romantic Romeo & Juliet Overture where love and violence share the stage in an epic musical rendition of the classic Shakespearean story. Dvořák’s euphoric Symphony No 8 sets the scene for the warmer spring months ahead to bring the concert to a fitting finale and leave everyone in an uplifted mood as The Metropolitan Orchestra ends their prolific 17th concert season.
