Phoenix Collective with Dan Walker, presents The Juliet Letters, a song sequence for string quartet which marries chamber music with Beatles-esque art-pop, inspired by the true story of a Verona professor who responded to letters addressed to Juliet, of Romeo and Juliet fame.
Flautist Jane Rutter and pianist Simon Tedeschi appear in concert, live and online, playing music by Tchaikovsky, Prokofiev, Shostakovich, Stravinsky, Schumann and Gershwin.
The Pitt Street Lunchtime Organ Festival runs on selected Fridays from May to September, 2022. Artistic Directors Kurt Ison and Stacey Xiaoyu Yang have gathered some of some of Sydney's finest organists to perform on the historic Hill and Son pipe organ in the sanctuary of Pitt St Uniting Church, metres from Town Hall station.
