Glebe Music Festival 2025

The 36th annual Glebe Music Festival runs through November at various locations in Glebe, Sydney and featuring a variety of genres from chamber music to jazz, music theatre, solo instruments and voices.

The festival opens on Saturday 1 November at 7 pm the Hourglass Ensemble comprising Ewa Kowalski (flutes), Andrew Kennedy (clarinets), Dan Russell (violin), Jack Ward (cello) and Anna Rutkowska-Schock (piano), performing works by Johannes Brahms, Michael Torke (USA), Alice Chance (Aus), Amanda Harberg (USA), Sally Greenaway (Aus) and Hector Villa-Lobos.

Other artists include pianist Anthony Chen, Acacia Quartet and the Agostino Guitar Duo.

The festival closes with a Sunday afternoon concert by Josie and the Emeralds, celebrating the St Cecilia, patron saint of music whose feast day falls on 22 November.
