Soprano Maria José Siri and tenor Gregory Kunde lead a superstar international cast, starring as the ill-fated lovers at the centre of Manon Lescaut,Puccini’s passionate opera about a free-spirited country girl who becomes the toast of Paris and finds herself torn between true love and a life of luxury.

This sumptuous opera – Puccini’s first major triumph – comes to you as a live performance from the Teatro Regio in Turin, which hosted the world premiere in 1893. Directed by Vittorio Borrelli with  Set Design by Thierry Flamand, the rich score conducted by Gianandrea Noseda, is characterised by youthful vitality and filled with glorious melodies.
