Concert Review: Winterreise/ Clayton/Golla. Musica Viva
English tenor Allan Clayton and Australian-born, London-based pianist Kate Golla joined forces for a performance of Winterreise, Franz Schubert’s iconic song-cycle with text by poet Wilhelm Müller, sung in German with English surtitles. This remarkable performance deserves unrestrained acclamation.
