2014 Eisteddfod Entries Open
The McDonald’s Sydney Eisteddfod is calling for entries to the 2014 competition.
The 92-page syllabus includes almost four hundred classical and contemporary events for aspiring singers, dancers, musicians, composers, choirs, bands and orchestras. The program caters for all age groups and styles.
Once again, the $57,000 Sydney Eisteddfod McDonald’s Operatic Aria and the $36,000 Sydney Eisteddfod McDonald’s Ballet Scholarships highlight the program. Other major events include the Sydney Eisteddfod Allison/Henderson Piano Scholarship, the Sydney Eisteddfod NSW Doctors’ Orchestra Instrumental Scholarship, the Sydney Eisteddfod Musica Viva Chamber Music Award and The John Lamble Foundation Australasian Choral Championships for Open, Youth and Primary/Infants School choirs.
The 2014 festival will run from 31 May until mid September. Entries close on 13 March and the complete syllabus can be viewed on the Sydney Eisteddfod website at www.sydneyeisteddfod.com.au
