Cellist Rachel Scott

In August, cellist Rachel Scott, curator of the concert series Bach in the Dark, joined by the choir of St James’ King Street and Alistair Nelson on chamber organ.

It’s not often that the choir is heard in the intimate and reverberant acoustic of the crypt of St James’, and Rachel says “It seemed very fitting to organise a concert together – they sing so often upstairs that it seemed right that they should also sing downstairs!

The programme is to be confirmed, but Rachel has hinted that  a J S Bach motet might just be on the cards!
