Multiple ARIA Award winning a capella ensemble The Idea Of North (TION) are the Resident Artists at the Gondwana Choirs National Choral School this summer. The internationally-acclaimed Australian vocal quartet will work intensively with each ensemble during the NCS and perform in their own concert in the Festival of Summer Voices which marks the culmination of the two-week long National Choral school

TION have a distinctive and beautifully blended sound in their repertoire which spans many styles. Soprano Sally Cameron, alto Naomi Crellin, tenor Nick Begbie and bass Andrew Piper have shared two decades of music-making in Australia and on tour overseas, live as well as in the recording studio, singing jazz, folk, gospel, pop, classical and comedy.
