Behind the scenes at the recording of ‘Grace’

  Commemorating Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart: born January 27th, 1756 – that’s 258 years ago. Coincidentally, Gustavo Dudamel who conducts this concert was born on January 26th, 1981.   Stille Nacht, heilige Nacht, performed by the Thomanerchor of Leipzig. Composer Franz Xaver Gruber set the lyrics of Joseph Mohr to music in 1818, in the small town of Oberndorf bei Salzburg in Austria. UNESCO declared this carol an intangible cultural heritage  in March 2011.
