Acacia Quartet’s Rhythm And Texture
The Acacia Quartet comprising violinists Lisa Stewart and Myee Clohessy, violist Stefan Duwe and cellist Anna Martin-Scrase, returns to the Utzon Room of the Sydney Opera House with Rhythm & Texture, aptly illustrated by the String Quartet No. 7 by Shostakovich and the String Quartet in F major by Ravel, alongside little known works by Golijov and Alvarez and a brand new work by Lyle Chan, winner of the award for Orchestral Work of the Year at the 2017 Art Music Awards.
