Advent Music At Christ Church St Laurence

The Choir of Christ Church St Laurence directed by Dr Neil McEwan presents a service of lessons and carols to mark Advent – the start of the church year and the beginning of preparations for Christmas.

The programme includes music by Byrd, Elgar, Guerrero and Stainer, as well as antiphons, responses and hymns for the season.

The service is free and all are welcome. Seating is unreserved and accessible entry is available at the entrance to the church at 812 George St, Railway Square.

Attendees are invited to the Parish Hall afterwards.
