Australian Brandenburg Orchestra’s 2020 Noël! Noël! Is Live And Digital

Join the Australian Brandenburg Orchestra, joined by the Brandenburg, conducted by Artistic Director Paul Dyer AO, for the 20th Anniversary of Noël! Noël!

In 2020, Noël! Noël!  will be performed at the City Recital Hall with a reduced capacity of 75%, omitting the traditional tour of churches in Sydney and surrounds. To make up for this, there are two new performances on Thursday 17 December and a digital performance.

Programe highlights indlude Franz Gruber’s immortal Stille Nacht, Palestrina’s Kyrie from Missa Gabriel Archangelus , Underneath the Stars by Rusby (arr, Clements) and the evergreen carol O Come, All Ye Faithful.

Brimming with joy, hope and cheer, join the ABO this December to celebrate a joyful and triumphant 20 years of carols and choral music. Featuring serene strings and soarings sopranos, experience a transformed City Recital Hall stage as Paul Dyer and his merry band perform against stunning imagery by designer Michael Scott-Mitchell.

    Congratulations to pianist Alex Ranieri who has won the $15,000 first prize in New Zealand’s Kerikeri International Piano Competition held recently in the Bay of Islands.
