Australian Chamber Orchestra And Sydney Opera House To Stream Goldberg Variations

The Australian Chamber Orchestra’s (ACO) upcoming performance of J S Bach’s Goldberg Variations will be broadcast live via Facebook from the Sydney Opera House Concert Hall on Sunday 12 August, 2pm AEST.

Audiences across Australia will be able to experience the ACO perform one of the greatest pieces of music ever written, in an illuminating string arrangement by Canadian conductor Bernard Labadie, as the whole concert is streamed live via the Australian Chamber Orchestra and Sydney Opera House Facebook pages.

Also on the programme are a string arrangement of Stravinsky’s Three Pieces for String Quartet, Thomas Adès’ Nightfalls from The Four Quarters and Bach’s Canons on a Goldberg Ground, performed in one of Richard Tognetti’s signature arrangements.
