Eternal Summer, a production by soprano Laura King, is an intimate vocal performance exploring the art of story-telling and a woman’s voice in contemporary Australia. It is  a musical and visual feast, a dramatic journey through the feminine, the landscape of nature, magical fairy tales, romance, and the art of story-telling through song.

Laura King, soprano and Rosie Riebl, pianist will perform repertoire of Australian female composers ranging from contemporary classical, Elena Kats Chernin and Betty Beath, to contemporary pop, Katie Noonan, as well as original compositions by Rosie Riebl.

Laura and Rosie met at the prestigious Mietta Song Competition where Laura won the competition in 2016 and Rosie was a finalist. They felt the need to tell Australian stories, through the eyes of Australian female composers and their collaboration, Eternal Summer, bears fruit to their exciting vision.
