My Gypsy Soul showcases the talents of SSO Concertmaster Andrew Haveron, ACO Principal Viola Stephanie Farrands, QSO Chief Conductor and cellist Umberto Clerici and international concert pianist Konstantin Shamray, all performing together for the first time.

They will breathe new life into timeless masterpieces including the sultry Hungarian dances of Brahms as well as his vigorous first piano quartet in G minor, the hot-blooded music of Kodaly and Enescu’s Romanian rhapsody No. 1 – especially arranged for the evening. You can expect some program surprises along the way too as the Live team keep their repertoire fluid and flexible.
