North Sydney Symphony Orchestra Dances With Fire

The North Sydney Symphony Orchestra presents BAILE y FUEGO! (Dance and Fire!) a concert of music from, and inspired by, Spanish and Latin American culture.
Conducted by Steven Hillinger and led by Concertmaster Shuti Huang, the orchestra is delighted to work again with the acclaimed pianist, composer and improviser Daniel Rojas. The NSSO will play two works from his recently released and highly praised new CD ‘Bliss of Heaven’, featuring Rojas’ trademark irresistible rhythms and a cornucopia of melodies. The orchestra will be joined on stage by Daniel Rojas for the performance.
The concert also features Falla’s popular Three-Cornered Hat Suites from the ballet of the same name, and Arturo Márquez’s Danzón No. 2, a piece that featured in the hit Amazon series Mozart in the Jungle.
