Childhood music experiences are critical in building a life-long love of music. The Sydney Symphony Orchestra conducted by Benjamin Northey will bring Prokofiev’s magical musical tale Peter and The Wolf to life in an enjoyable and dramatic treat for young ears.
The Australian Haydn Ensemble presents Haydn Speaks featuring acclaimed thespian John Bell telling the story of the rise of this great composer. This tour takes in Sydney, Canberra and New South Wales regional centres. It will also be broadcast on Australian Digital Concert Hall on Sunday 16 October August 5pm with the livestream available for 72 hours after concert.
Pianist Simon Tedeschi presents a concert to raise funds for Ukraine with special guest and frequent collaborator, the brilliant flautist Sally Walker. All the proceeds from ticket sales are to be donated to the cause.
