Sydney Chamber Choir has drawn on almost five decades of concerts in Innocence & Experience to select landmark gems of Australian and Renaissance music for two special degustation performances at the new ACO’s recital hall, The Neilson, in Walsh Bay.
Sydney Chamber Choir with the Muffat Collective directed by Sam Allchurch presents Light & Shade, with music by J S Bach, Heinrich Schütz, John Rutter and Brooke Shelley including the world premiere of her new piece commissioned by the choir.
Castalia Vocal Consort presents Her Eyes, a musical and artistic exploration of Mary as a woman outside of her spiritual status. It features music by Alice Chance, Brooke Shelley, Herbert Howells, Elliot Gyger and Francis Poulenc, paired with the artworks of artists including Botticelli, Da Vinci, and Picasso.
