Pianist Alexander Boyd, another talent from Australia’s illustrious Boyd dynasty, returns to the Art Gallery Society’s Resonate series to showcase his virtuosity.

The programme begins with Mozart’s Sonata in A minor, followed by a Chopin Scherzo and two Nocturnes.

It concludes with Isaac Albéniz’s Iberia Book I & II, a masterpiece of musical portraiture that brilliantly evokes the sounds and flavour of Albeniz’s native Spain.

The concert will be preceded by a champagne reception and private viewing of Afghanistan: hidden treasures from the National Museum, Kabul.
