Kenny Broberg Recital For The Sydney International Piano Competition

American pianist Kenny Broberg returns to Australia with concerts in Melbourne and Sydney presented by the Sydney International Piano Competition, featuring a program including Bach’s Prelude and Fugue in A-flat Major, Beethoven’s Sonata No.31 in A-flat Major Op.110, Chopin’s Fantaisie in F minor Op.49, Franck’s Prélude, Fugue et Variation Op.18 (arranged for piano by Bauer), and Medtner’s Sonata in E minor Op.25 Night Wind.

Broberg is an extraordinary young artist who, at the age of 25, already has an impressive number of awards under his belt. He was recently a grand finalist and was awarded Third Prize at the 2019 International Tchaikovsky Piano Competition in Moscow, which compliments his Silver Medal win at the 2017 Van Cliburn International Piano Competition and Fourth Prize at The Sydney in 2016.
