Nocturnes and Songs To The Moon
Live at Lunch presents Nocturnes & Songs to the Moon with leading Australian soprano Amelia Farrugia and acclaimed flautist Jane Rutter.
Featuring a selection of classical and popular hits, music director and pianist John Martin accompanies Jane and Amelia as they perform Moon River, Cat Stevens’ Moon Shadow, Chopin’s Nocturnes, Debussy and Fauré’s Clair de Lune, Dvorák’s Song to the Moon and more.
Amelia Farrugia is regarded as one of the brightest stars of opera in Australia and has sung many leading roles for Opera Australia, performed with all the ABC Orchestras and appeared internationally with such distinguished conductors as Richard Bonynge, Carlo Felice Cillario, and Giovanni Reggioli.
