The Australian Brandenburg Orchestra’s Noël! Noël! concerts, in their 17th year in 2015,  are a heartwarming festive tradition for thousands of people across Sydney, Wollongong and Melbourne with the 2015 Noël! Noël! “returning to a more traditional concert which mixes stunning carols and blissful classical treats that really touch the heart,” says Paul Dyer AO, Artistic Director. Paul loves to throw some unexpected treats into the festive concerts, and has chosen two contemporary love songs to introduce chanteuse Emma Birdsall to the Brandenburg stage. Emma Birdsall, is the vocalist who found fame on The Voice Australia in 2012 and through performances on the Nine Network’s Love Child. She’ll be joined by the full choir for some items, as well as singing O Holy Night in the traditional closing bracket of carols. “There’s always a bit of a twist, a lovely surprise and an adventure into the unexpected. This year I’m introducing one of most exciting young singers I’ve heard in recent years,” adds Paul.

“Assembling the Noël! Noël! concerts  in some ways is like putting together my Christmas cake,” he says. “It’s Important to get the mix of ingredients balanced, not too sweet, not too spicy. To add a little spice to our series, Emma Bridsall will add a pinch of the present day.”

As well as concerts in the city, Noël! Noël!  is a programme that tours some of Sydney’s most beautiful suburban churches.
