Sydney International Piano Competition 2021 Bookings Open

The Sydney International Piano Competition 2021 has opened bookings for its online competition. A season ticket offers the chance to watch and keep all 50 performances from the preliminary, semi-final and final stages, plus the special announcements as to who progresses and who will be awarded the first place – all to watch at home ‘on demand’. Share the musical passion as 32 of the world’s best young pianists battle it out to win, with the performance of a lifetime.
The online season pass includes:
• Unlimited access to 50 pre-recorded competitor recitals, included in the 29 broadcast sessions of the competition and award announcements
• A digital program to keep track of all your favourite competitors
• An exclusive ‘Opening Gala’ concert featuring 2016 Competition Winner Andrey Gugnin and the Tchaikovsky Symphony Orchestra to be filmed this month in the Great Hall in Moscow
Competition rounds include:
• Preliminary Round: Fri 2–Fri 9 July | 16 Sessions, each featuring two competitors with a 40-minute solo recital.
• Semi Final Round: Sat 10–Thu 15 July | 6 Sessions, each featuring two semi finalists with a 50-minute solo recital.
• Final Round: Fri 16–Sun 18 July | 6 Sessions, each featuring our finalists performing an 80-minute solo recital.
• Winner and Prize announcements will be made on Sunday 18 July
• Gala Opening Night concert on Thursday 1 July
