The Burgundian Consort: In Love And War

Burgundians Rose

The Burgundian Consort has existed as an elite arm of the Collegium Musicum Choir at UNSW since 1985.

Comprising just a small number of singers (12-18), mostly (but not exclusively) undergraduate music students, the ensemble sings challenging, unaccompanied repertoire.

In its annual recital for 2015, the group brings a program of the beauty and sadness in love and war, with works by composers as diverse as Arvo Pärt, Janequin, Victoria, Gibbons, Parry, Walton and Jackson.

Pianist Ian Munro, core member of the Australia Ensemble @UNSW and one of Australia’s finest instrumentalists, will also appear in a special guest performance.

Tickets: A $14/Conc $7.

Bookings: cmc@unsw.edu.au or call (02) 9385 4874
