Thoroughbass Presents O for An Oboe
Harpsichordist and director of Thoroughbass, Diana Weston is joined by guest artist Jane Downer playing the baroque oboe and Shaun Ng playing the viola da gamba in O for an Oboe, a concert featuring some of the most beautiful music created by Johann Sebastian Bach and his son Emmanuel.
The combination of oboe and gamba is particularly effective in plumbing the depths of the soul in music. Also featured is the heart-melting music of Tomaso Albinoni and others.
