Willoughby Symphony Plays Mozart, Nielsen And Hindson
Conducted by Stephen Mould, Willoughby Symphony presents BRILLIANCE, a concert which opens with Mozart’s sparkling Haffner Symphony, followed by Nielsen’s intensely beautiful Symphony No. 6 with its exquisite orchestral writing and fascinating palette of colours and textures.
As well, flautist Virginia Taylor guest stars to perform Willoughby Symphony’s 2016 Composer-in-Residence, Matthew Hindson’s House Music, a flute concerto that challenges conventional perceptions of the instrument.
