The Utzon Music Series presents A Musical Insight: Wagner, His Contemporaries And Followers in which young Australian pianist Alex Raineri and speaker Peter Bassett explore the world of Wagner through his letters and music, tracing the profound influence of this composer on his contemporaries and on those who succeeded him.  

This programme will offer invaluable insights looking ahead to Opera Australia’s second presentation of the Ring Cycle in Melbourne later this year.
