A world premiere from The Metropolitan Orchestra and Claire Edwardes

Percussionist Claire Edwardes playing Marimba, will be teaming up with The Metropolitan Orchestra (TMO) to perform works by Mozart and Haydn.

However the highlight of the concert will be the world premiere of Sydney composer Daniel Rojas‘ Concerto for Marimba and Chamber Orchestra, conducted by Sarah-Grace Williams. Typical to Rojas’ music which brims with the rhythms and colours of Latin America, this fresh and opulent concerto promises to have you dancing and swooning at the edge of your seat!
