ACO HomeCasts Celebrates Three Decades Of Tognetti’s Leadership
Celebrating 30 years of Richard Tognetti’s visionary artistic leadership, the Australian Chamber Orchestra presents a week-long celebration of Tognetti’s time at the helm.
Tonight, (Tuesday) on ACO HomeCasts, an unmissable double-bill, beginning with the release of Richard’s original composition, The Other Way at 7 pm, featuring vocals by Satu Vänskä with Richard Tognetti on electric violin and Slava Grigoryan and Midnight Oil’s Jim Moginie on guitar.
This is followed at 8pm AEST by a screening of Musica Surfica, the project that launched Richard’s fascination with blending genres and experiencing music in a multi-sensory way. It is the first of three archival films released for the first time in more than ten years.
