Applications Open for the 2024 Young Mannheim Symphonists
Applications are now open for the 2024 Young Mannheim Symphonists programs run by the Australian Romantic & Classical Orchestra.
This program is devoted to the development of musicians in the historically informed performance of Classical and Romantic music.
Co-directed by Rachael Beesley and Nicole van Bruggen with a world-class faculty, the YMS National and State Academies give secondary and tertiary students and emerging musicians the chance to discover the magic of approaching music with appropriate performance style. Through workshops, tutorials, side-by-side rehearsals and a final performance, participants are inspired by how the music comes to life, deepening their passion, expertise and understanding.
Recommended ages: 15-23 (younger students may apply)
