    Bach Akademie Australia led by its Artistic Director, early music specialist and virtuoso violinist, Madeleine Easton, continues its 2022 season with In Bach’s Orbit: the nature and nurture of true genius. Presented in two Sydney concerts also streamed on Australian Digital Concert Hall, the program celebrates the music of J S Bach and the composers who influenced and inspired him. The performances feature renowned Australian countertenor Russell Harcourt.

    The Western Sydney Philharmonic (West Phil) performs its first orchestral concert in September 2022, led by Maximilian Holzner and Kristian Winther. Conducted by Kristian Winther with violin soloist Anna Da Silva Chen and soprano Chloe Lankshear, the program features the Violin Concerto No. 1 in A Minor, Op. 77 by Shostakovich and the Symphony No. 4 in G Major by Mahler.
