IFAC Australian singing competition finalists announced….

The semi- final of the IFAC Singing Competition was held last Wednesday, at the Independent Theatre in North Sydney. Five finalists were selected from the 10 semi-finalists and they are: from NSW, sopranos Naomi Johns and Emma Moore,  and bass-baritone Morgan Pearse, WA tenor Gerard Schneider and New Zealand soprano Bryony Williams.

Congratulations to all the contenders. The competition offers over $220,000 in prizes.

Lyndon Terracini will be the Master of Ceremonies at the final and the singers will perform with the Australian Opera and Ballet Orchestra conducted by Benjamin Northey (courtesy Opera Australia).
