Joyce Yang Masterclass In Sydney
Pianist Joyce Yang will conduct a masterclass in Sydney during her concert tour of Australia for Musica Viva.
Joyce Yang was the Silver Medallist and the youngest competitor in the 2005 Van Cliburn Competition, and has since gone on to numerous accolades and a still rising career. Her warmth, maturity and the intensity of feeling in her performances has put her ahead of her cohort, a group where technical brilliance is a given, and outstanding musicianship and flair make all the difference.
Musica Viva’s Masterclass program provides students, music teachers and audiences of all ages with an entertaining and enriching learning experience conducted by international touring artists, offering a unique perspective on interpretation, technique and performance. They are open to students, teachers and audiences.
