Leichhardt Espresso Chorus launches Kids Choir
Starting this week,Leichhardt Espresso Chorus is launching a regular kids choir under the artistic direction of music educator Michelle Leonard.
Several choirs for various age groups (from Kindy to Yr 7) will rehearse weekly on a Monday or Tuesday afternoon at the Italian Forum Cultural Centre, Leichhardt. There is no audition required. However Michelle will spend the first week of term workshopping and placing children in the correct choir for their voice.
Espresso Kids Choirs will perform at the end of each term. Our first concert will be combined with the adult choir, Leichhardt Espresso Chorus, at the Italian Forum – this is planned for June 29th and 30th and it will be based on the theme ‘Aesop’s Fables’.
The first workshop/rehearsal is on
MONDAY 29th APRIL 4pm to 5.30pm OR
TUESDAY 30th APRIL 4pm to 5.30pm
The tuition fees for each 10 week term are $165 (inc. GST) per child.
