Australian operatic soprano Taryn Fiebig is the guest star in the next concert of the Live at Lunch concert series at Chatswood’s The Concourse in which she will perform the music of Strauss, Ravel and Canteloube.  

One of Australia’s most popular and versatile artists, Taryn will showcase her vocal and instrumental talent by singing and playing cello in new arrangements of Songs of the Auvergne by Canteloube, Shéhérazade by Ravel, and songs by Richard Strauss, accompanied by Jane Rutter on classical and rustic flutes and Vincent Colagiuri on piano. 

A principal with Opera Australia since 2005, Taryn’s major roles have included Susanna in Le nozze di Figaro, Musetta in La bohème, Zerlina in Don Giovanni and Gianetta in The Gondoliers. In 2008/2009, she played Eliza Dolittle in the national tour of My Fair Lady and won the Helpmann Award for her portrayal as Lucy in Bliss.
