Flautist Melissa Doecke and pianist-composer Mark Isaacs present The Enchanted Flute, a concert of Australian and French music for flute and piano from their debut album Ulpirra Sonatines featuring music by Ross Edwards, Mark Isaacs, Henri Dutilleux and Francis Poulenc.

The duo have hatched their collaboration over the last decade, after an initial project around original compositions of Mark’s which Melissa commissioned. They later branched out into exploring French and other Australian repertoire, as well as their own improvisations. Their first performance was at the 2009 Australian Flute Festival and since then they have recorded a recital for ABC Classic FM and made their debut CD Ulpirra Sonatines as well as giving concerts at Elder Hall, Adelaide, Melbourne Recital Centre & a ten-concert tour of the east coast of Australia.
