The Willoughby Symphony: Twilight Concert

The Willoughby Symphony will perform a special one-hour Twilight Concert to make up for the sell- out of its Last Night of the Proms programme.

Featuring beloved classics as the Dambusters March, Jerusalem and Elgar’s Pomp and Circumstance March (Land of Hope and Glory), Chief Conductor and Artistic Director, Dr Nicholas Milton will lead the Orchestra and Choir, along with special guest soloist, violinist Josephine Chung. 

Josephine, who is just 16,  won the 2013 National Youth Concerto Competition, was a semi-finalist in the Junior Division of the Yehudi Menuhin International Violin Competition and a prize winner in the finals of the Young Virtuoso of the Year Award in 2014. She also received the Richard Pollett Memorial Prize for the best Sonata in the 2014 Kendall National Violin Competition.
