Tyran Parke Joins The Metropolitan Orchestra For Family Concerts

Actor, singer, writer and director Tyran Parke joins The Metropolitan Orchestra as narrator for this year’s rendition of Prokofiev’s classic tale, Peter and The Wolf.  

Tyran has worked on over 50 professional productions as an actor, director and writer. Highlights include the Babies Proms at The Sydney Opera House,The Sound of Music, Oliver!, Eurobeat, Assassins, Evita, Sunset Blvd, South Pacific, Mack and Mabel, Anything Goes, Jekyll and Hyde, Angels in America, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Comedy of Errors, The Tempest, Tick Tick Boom!, Twelfth Night, The Last Five Years, I Can’t Imagine You Before You Were Twenty Five, Our House, Sweeney Todd, Into the Woods, Much Ado About Nothing, In a Pink Tutu, Pool(No Water), Lovebites, Life Force, Rent, Putting it Together, She Loves Me and Sunday in the Park with George. 

This interactive concert will engage, educate and inspire children as they are introduced to classical music along with music that children and parents know and love. With every child having the opportunity to get up close to the instruments and musicians, this concert is one for the whole family.
