Willoughby Symphony Chamber Series

The Willoughby Symphony chamber series returns for its second concert, Shattered Restraint(s) with Chamber Music Series Director, Daniel Dean’s production taking audiences on a journey through musical history.

Opening with Ravel’s luscious Introduction and Allegro for Harp Septet, the Willoughby Symphony is delighted to showcase rising star cellist Liam Meany, featuring works by Carl Vine and composer-in-residence Kate Moore. The concert will conclude with Shostakovich’s powerful Chamber Symphony Op. 83a, conducted by former Willoughby Symphony Assistant Conductor Luke Spicer.

The 70-minute concert will be followed by light refreshments and the opportunity to meet the musicians.
