The Northern Sydney Symphonic Wind Ensemble

The Willoughby Spring Festival runs throughout September. For music lovers, the highlights will include concerts by the Vienna Boys’ Choir, the Sydney Symphony, the Northern Sydney Symphonic Wind Ensemble and the students of Chatswood Public School at various venues around the area.

However, the month long festival includes a spectrum of entertainment which includes theatre and film, events for children and youth, the visual arts, fashion, talks, cultural and community celebrations and workshops for a sustainable lifestyle.

A highlight of the festival is the Street Fair on Saturday 15 September from 10am to 4pm when Chatswood’s CBD will come to a standstill to host the Street Parade of more than 1,000 people dancing and marching through the streets on floats and foot. The live entertainment  throughout the day stretches across seven entertainment stages with dance, children’s activities, big band music and youth performances. You can browse more than 100 market stalls selling jewellery, arts and crafts, fashion, plants, fresh produce and food from around the world.
